Saudi Arabia and Oman Discuss Supporting Diplomatic Solutions for De-escalation
Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan discussed the latest regional developments with his Omani counterpart, Badr Albusaidi, in a phone call on Saturday.
During the call, the two ministers stressed the importance of supporting diplomatic solutions to de-escalate tensions and enhance security and stability in the region.
Albusaidi expressed his country's condemnation of the attacks on Abha and King Khalid international airports, its solidarity with Saudi Arabia, and its complete rejection of targeting civilian facilities and endangering the Kingdom's security and the safety of its civilians.
On Friday, the Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation announced that three Saudi citizens were killed and a number of citizens and residents were injured in two attacks that targeted facilities at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and a Saudia aircraft.
